Today marks 3 years in Argentina...

I was just browsing through old photos on my computer, and realized that three years ago, today, I arrived in Buenos Aires.......CRAZY!
Anyway, I thought I'd put together some photos from around Buenos Aires over the years...

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Time to make dinner!

    1. Thanks, Deb! It was a difficult transition for me at first, but I have learned and grown so much in the three years I've been here, and I am very grateful for that. I also feel that living in another country has forced me to look at the world differently, which is a perspective I am also grateful for. Thanks for your warm wishes! Hope you're having a great week :-)

  3. 3 years, time flies! It's already more than five years I'm here in Barcelona. Seeing your pictures makes me think of Buenos Aires, I can still remember that it was a city full of contrasts, beautiful and ugly and shocking at the same time. It looks a little bit like madrid and then suddenly you notice that it's really a different continent. To be honest it was not "my" city, for me it was way too big but there are many places I really liked.
I wish you all the best for the next three years ;)

    1. You are absolutely right when you say a city full of contrasts...I couldn't have said it better myself! It definitely is a very large city---I often forget that though because I live & work in the same neighborhood, so I feel more a sense of community. Just curious, what were some of your favorite places in Buenos Aires?
Thank you for the well wishes! xx

    1. Thank you for your comment! In terms of traveling to Argentina, flights to Buenos Aires are usually on the expensive side, but once you are here, restaurants & hotels end up being pretty cheap for tourists as you get a good exchange on on your currency (especially if you are from Europe or the US).

    1. It's definitely been a three year period of growth, change, and new experiences for me, and while there were difficult times of adjustment, I wouldn't trade it for anything else!
As for Agatha (my Rottweiler), I can't believe how photogenic she is! It seems that every time I go to take a photo of her, she is always smiling haha
Hope you're having a fabulous birthday week! :-)
